They live in Korea, but I held Ibolya and Robin's Hungarian-English ceremony in Hungary...
Meetings without borders
I remember the first time Ibolya called me...the number was very strange, but for some reason I answered the phone, even though I don't usually do that.
The day before the call, I was telling my husbandr that I was going to have a very special ceremony next year, and I jokingly said "and tomorrow they're going to call me from Korea... " and the next day the phone call from Korea arrived... (That's how I guess the winning lottery numbers :-) ! )
I had my first phone conversation with Violya for half an hour and she told me a lot about their life...
They met for the first time at an exhibition in Amsterdam, where Robin was helping a friend at an auction, while Ibolya was there with a friend when she noticed some special paintings in a booth, where they happened to stop and where Robin stepped up and spoke to her... The first conversation was already very special, they said, they talked about art, about living abroad, and in hindsight it was no coincidence that they met :-)
Ibolya was fascinated by Robin's first message, in which she wrote her name perfectly, and Robin found her personality, her accent, everything around her a mystery... Then came the moments together, travels, experiences, moves, and then the engagement...
Intimate venues - Special wedding ceremonies
Their wedding was at the Botanica Guesthouse in Dánszentmiklós, a real jewel box in a peaceful setting. Although the weather was not kind, it was raining that day, the ceremony was exclusive and intimate with candlelight, intimate moments...
I am very happy to have met Ibolya and Robin and to have been chosen as their wedding officiant :-)
