The wedding of Levente and Sziszi was a truly special event, as the big day was attended by a truly international crowd of guests at the picturesque Zebegény, the Natura Hill wedding venue.
I was delighted to take part in this special day not only as the officiant, but also as the wedding coordinator, and I performed both roles in Hungarian and English, ensuring that both the couple and their guests understood and experienced all the important moments.
Hungarian-English ceremony
My role as Master of Ceremonies was to create a personalized, moving ceremony that truly reflected Levente and Sissi's unique story and life journey together.
I conducted the ceremony in both Hungarian and English, so that it was continuous, alternating between both languages and not breaking the text and flow of the ceremony.
Throughout the ceremony, I emphasized the meeting of the two cultures, highlighting the couple's shared values and the symbols that reflected the specialness of their wedding.
Hungarian-English wedding coordination
The wedding coordination was particularly important, as I carefully monitored every moment of the day. My job was to make sure that everything went smoothly from the arrival of the guests to the end of the dinner.
I made sure that the programmes started on time and that all the service providers - the photographers, the florists and the caterers - worked in a coordinated way.
As a bilingual coordinator, I took special care to ensure that both Hungarian and English-speaking guests felt fully at home.
I helped to coordinate the different cultural and linguistic needs so that everyone could enjoy the day and participate smoothly in the activities. From the ceremony to the dinner and the opening of the dance floor, everything went smoothly.
Dual role: celebrant and coordinator
Such a dual role, where I am both officiant and coordinator, gives me the opportunity to be in control of all aspects of the events and ensure that the wedding is perfect.
Levente and Sisi's wedding was exactly like that: harmonious, touching and unforgettable.
The collaboration was to the complete satisfaction of the couple and their guests, and it was a pleasure to see the meeting of two languages and cultures work so beautifully together.
